Texas - Wrong Way detection project stretching 30 miles NTTA has been using FLIR thermal detection cameras for Wrong Way Detection for over 3 years now. Their system primarily uses our FLUX software to receive and send notifications during wrong way events. The project is set to be expanded.
New Mexico DOT Region 5 - Tapco wrong way system in District 5. The 18 ramps along I-25 and I-40 Corridors will help NMDOT identify and collect data on wrong way drivers with the sole goal of turning each driver around with our complete warning system.
Denver, Colorado Reconstruct a 10-mile stretch of I-70 between Brighton Boulevard and Chambers Road, add one new Express Lane in each direction, remove the aging 57-year-old viaduct, lower the interstate between Brighton and Colorado boulevards, and place a 4-acre park over a portion of the lowered interstate.

The system uses thermal cameras for primary detection of wrong-way vehicles along exit ramps and at other potential points of entry onto the freeway’s mainline lanes.
